It is the intent of this scientist/author to provide commentary on regional and global biological and ecological changes in this BLOG. Regional commentary will have a predominately southeastern United States focus with global implications. Global discussions will talk about what is taking place on a planetary scale with possible associated local effects.

There will be sections called “Fishy Facts” and “Questions for Students” to provide a lighter side and something teachers might find useful. Links to web sites will be added to broaden interests at multiple levels.
